Three weeks of mild ectopics

About 4 weeks ago I injured my knee and suffered extensive bruising and bleeding above and below the knee. I saw the nurse about the bleeding who called the doctor in. He said it was ok. I also had a question about low bp in mornings and slowish heart rate. Before the knee episode I was fairly fit, walking a lot and avoiding sitting around. My pulse appeared to be low on machine, 32. Taking it manually the doctor said there some strong beats. BP was a bit low but no fainting or dizziness. Since I came home and started taking my own pulse I noticed the ectopic beats. I feel fine and I'm getting back to walking and exercise. My question is: should I ask for an ECG or just carry on? I have nothing like some of the attacks described on here and don't want to make unnecessary visits to the practice.

Ectopics are generally considered benign so my advice would be to go on how you feel. If you feel faint or dizzy then seek medical help

I agree with Bob - Ectopics are a nuisance and I find them unpleasant but are generally considered to be harmless. Unfortunately, they love attention and when we know they are there, we feel them more, which causes some anxiety, which makes them worse . . . and on and on.

Make sure you are breathing correctly, especially if you have pain and have a look at Dr Gupta's breathing exercise for ectopics - put Gupta breathing ectopics into the search box on the top right and you'll find plenty of posts about it.
