I have been under the care of a consultant at Barts and also had virtual calls with him privately during lockdown. However, I am looking for a second opinion and wondering whether anyone could message me with their recommendation. I am in my early 70s and would like to rectify the blip of AF in the evening / night. Happy to go privately and I live in north London. Ultimately just want to find someone that can help me find a solution if there is one possible. Thanks

Recommendation for EP
Might be diffcult since Prof Schilling's team are amongst the best in UK
Professor Lambiase is the lead consultant at Barts; it would be worth asking to see him.
Whilst I am a fan of second opinions, as even the best may not always be right for an individual. In practice in my experience the new consultant (I went to a high profile one in the UK, no names ) is wary of contradicting colleagues and conservative with advice and I didn't learn anything really new in a one-off appointment. If you get stuck, I think I have two names in London in my AF reference pile that I may be able to find - one recommended here and another by my Naturopath.
PS Apologies my experience and the names I have are cardiologists not EPs.
I was treated by Professor Mark O'Neil who works at the Heart Rhythm Clinic in London earlier this year. I can't recommend him highly enough, found his support and advice to be top notch. Hope this helps.
