How many PAC/PVC is considered as normal

Hello there! It’s been a while since my last post, I hope you are all doing great.

Today I want to write about PAC/PVC, I started to experience those monsters lately (maybe 1 skipped beat every minute or every 2/3 minutes). And I was wondering if you have some tips to stop them? I’m also worried about them because I’d didn’t feel them previously or at least not that much.

Take care of you.

Julien

That is a reasonable burden alathough plenty here probably have had much worse. I spent three months with ectopic beats every second third fourth etc up to eleven and back to 2. Not very pleasant. If you use the search box for Ectopic breathing exercise you should find some help. Basically slow deep breathing less than six breaths a minute using your diaphragm not your shoulders for five or more minutes.

Thank you for your wuick answer BobD, yes it is not that bad but hard to manage. I'll try this breathing technic, definitely! I don't want to take flecaine for now (a little bit afraid of side effects)

The breathing exercise certainly helps me Julien - also try some calming exercise such as Mindfulness or mild exertion such as taking a nice walk. Ectopics breed on the anxiety which they cause.

Hello Finvola thank you for your answer, I’ll try to have a breathing routine. Dis you see any improvement on your PVC with breathing exercise?

I have had bad PVC's when I reduced my Flecainide dose but not many since then. The breathing has stopped frequent PAC's and has also reduced the number of them. I do the exercise when I feel the first one and keep breathing and relaxing for at least 10 minutes. Once it works, it seems to be easier next time. Best wishes with it.
