If you have any chest pain then contact a medic right away. Personally with a HR of that level after 32 hours I would seek medicial attention. Others might 'sit it out' but I wouldn't if it were me.

Are you based in the UK ? If so a call to 111 might be a suggestion and see what they say.

You could call your doctor's surgery and ask what you should do. Mine usually suggest going to them immediately for an ECG. If your heart rate is stuck at 150 it sounds like it could be atrial flutter.

It's also a good idea of Pauls to ring the 111 number for advice. I've done that before and they've sent paramedics, they'll do an ECG and decide what you should do next. Please do something and don't just put up with that rate.

I usually head for A & E after one hour of AF or

tachycardia. You just never know how long its going to last, and for me, I would rather be monitored/treated as soon as possible.

Please contact your GP at least in the first instance, get trwatment and peace of mind....xxx

My GP is still hiding under a rock somewhere. Phone just rings and rings.

Went to ER, got diltiazem intreveniously with no effect. Doctor offered amiodarone. I said no, got anything else? Cardioversion put me right back into sinus rhythm. Took about 5hrs.

Good to hear and hope your heart stays in rhythm now.

Maybe I’m being naive here, but I wonder what the GPs are actually DOING.
