So pleased you did a second post because I had no chance with your first one! AF is what we generally refer to as a mongrel condition in that it can affect people in a variety of different ways. Can I suggest you take a look at two of the pinned posts to the right of this page. NEW programme from AF Association and Useful links for Newbies and Oldies. Both will help you to understand more about how AF might affect you and how best to manage the condition.......

Yes a lot people with AF are aware at times of having a very strong heartbeat. It's very annoying, but doesn't mean that your heart is worse than someone who isn't aware of theirs at all.
