Yes seen it,

Good news for for people who want Ablations, ive had 3 and Prof NG, has done 2 of them at Glenfield must have spent 14 hours on table all together,

so good news and more accurate so people might only need 1 Ablation instead of 3 or 4 as some need,

Good luck if your booked in for one.

Thank you good news for Monday morning. Whether to take pills or have an ablation will remain a debate when QOL is not too bad and this favours pills to wait until such innovations are available to all.

This story was from Jan 2019 and was a trial limited to 100 patients. Has anyone seen anything more recent to say whether the trial was a success and whether it will be rolled out to the rest of the UK?

Here's an article from July 2019 saying that the trial was a success. You always get the stories pumped up by the manufacturers whose profit relies on successful sales. I would describe this as more of a step along the long road of treating AF rather than a giant leap.

My cardiologist in Exeter has also been involved with a trial for ablations, I am not sure if it is the same. Very interesting article in the Sunday Mail.
