I have AF and had an ablation in Hamburg 2 years ago .

I am taking bisoprolol 5 mg once and Flecaine

100 twice a day and no AF since 6 months (if i lower flecaine i start to have AF again ),

Should i have a second ablation to avoid to take those médicaments ?

Because i think that those pills are

affecting negatively my sexuality !!

(do you have any advise for this ? which ED

pills or ...)

Thank you

It may be as a result of the flecanide - you need to speak to your doctor, we are not able to advise on medications etc for this.

Good luck!

erolkohen, hello.

I googled this article regarding Bisoprolol:

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/114...

"It is concluded that short term exposure to antihypertensive drugs is associated with self reported impotence at no greater prevalence than it is with placebo in men."

Regarding Flecainide:

"Genitourinary side effects including complaints of impotence are reported in 4% of patients. A case of urinary retention associated with flecainide has been reported."
