I’ve had my Kardia for about 8 months and today it has stopped working. If I place my fingers on the pads it just flashes between “great signal” and “no signal” and won’t take a recording.
Before I try to contact customer services, I thought I’d check to see if anyone else had had this issue? Does it need to have its battery replaced? Seems a bit soon for that.

Try battery out and in again and also phone off and on to reset the app? I’ve had similar issues. I use mine several times a day and not had to change battery yet. Its about 6 months old.
I've had mine since they came out and this really does sound like a failing battery. However, something else to try in this kind of situation is to put your phone into airplane mode while you do the test. It sometimes clears up issues of this nature.
