Hi -- when I first joined this group a couple years ago some people were discussing pain in the muscles of their upper right arms. The night I had my cardiac arrests I complained of that, so much that they actually x-rayed my arm when I got to the hospital. But over time it comes and goes, It's particularly bad right now, and hurts when I move my arm in certain ways. Did anybody ever find a cause or treatment for this?

Pain in Upper Right Arm
Hi Goldey
A friend who kept getting pain in her arm was one day stood at a bus stop and overheard two people talking about how the flu vaccine can cause this. She went to a physiotherapist who told her this is not uncommon and I believe he solved the problem. I haven't spoken to her recently, but when I do will ask her if she's still ok now.

I would have thought that if you think the pain in you arm is associated with cardiac arrest it would be wise to think about going to the hospital quick.
Just a thought.

I’m assuming you have a pacemaker now?
My husband has the same problem, diagnosed as ‘rotor cuff tendonitis’ and is having physio for it, but I think you should get medical advice.
I was going to say I've got that problem but in my upper left arm. Went out to the garage this morning and realised it was probably caused by lifting the garage door up.
If it is from a vaccine, it has a name SIRVA (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration).
In the US the Federal Vaccine Court pays out for this injury.
It can be very debilitating. My mother in law received a flu shot in one arm and a pneumonia vaccine, both against her wishes, while undergoing a hip replacement.
When she came around after anesthesia she complained more about her shoulder pain than the pain from the hip operation. She was unable to pull herself up with the triangle over her bed. After 4 nights in the hospital with no progress in her rehabilitation from the hip surgery, she was transferred to a nursing home for rehab. Once there the "house doctor" diagnosed it as SIRVA in both arms. My wife was outraged because she had been there when her mother refused the vaccines. She died before the case went through the long legal process to get to the Federal Vaccine Court.
She never recovered from the SIRVA and as such could not use a walker or cane, so she was wheelchair bound the rest of her life. She could no longer lift her arms to write, hold a magazine or get herself dressed.
