Can anyone advise as have tried both on different night and get quite bad side effects from both. Should I be more patient and persevere with one or the other for a few weeks. ? Any advise would be appreciated. Many Thanks. Mike.

My wife has used ropinerole for the last ten years and has found it works better if taken in two or three doses.

One tablet at about 4 - 5 pm, one at about 9 - 10 pm and another later - but only if she feels that she needs it.

So generally only two a day but occasionally (about once a fortnight) three.

Have you read all you can about RLS? We have downloaded a small book that has some natural cures for it.

My neurologist prescribed pramipexole for RLS. It seems to help for me.

My RLS was an adverse effect from an SSRI. I was helped by one technique at bedtime: putting my legs up against the wall for 10 minutes and then avoid getting out of bed.
