Anybody know why the advise on Kinetik blood pressure monitors state you should not use them if you suffer from AF? What are the risks involved?
Thanks
Danny

I use a Lloyd’s pharmacy one and readings have been same as ambulance get on theirs.
Best to follow recommendations of NICE.
We have a NICE recommended one that also detects AF. However it works in the same way as other BP monitors, just its software interpretation of the results takes into account AF factors. Pricey at over £100 but killed arguments from GP that it was just a panic attack.
