Afib and nausea

I woke up this morning in Afib with nausea. What can I do to stop the nausea?

I've only ever had nausea with AF twice and that was when my heart was going stupidly fast and I had to go to A&E each time. How are you feeling now?

I am much better now Jean. I am back to normal rhythm. It did worry me when I was in Afib as this is the first time I had nausea and I threw up the water I was drinking. I do feel tired now. Thank you for replying.

I think you should report this event to your GP today, just to be on the safe side that it wasn't a mild heart attack.

I used to have waves of nausea when in af - it was awful, felt very weak & faint. Af left me feeling completely drained & wiped out for 2days or more. Felt i was constantly on a treadmill! I didn't take meds for it - just put up with it until back in nsr, which could take hours or days. Effects of af are better now after a 2nd ablation 6months ago.
