As I already answered in your orginal post, codeine should be fine as I take it for arthritis when it is very bad. Parcetemol and codeine (co -codamol ) should be fine but do respect the max permitted amount of paracetemol in any 24 hours.
Yes ,I’ve been taking it for years with no issues for arthritis and it does not affect my AF at all ,
Same for me.....been taking it for years for arthritis
I take it also , no problem
Codine was prescribed by GP for wife who has PAF and on Bisoprolol. She had a series of bad migraines. She interleaved the codeine with paracetamol to keep the pain relief relatively constant.
I take Paracetamol with opium powder which I think must be similar when my hip pain is really bad. No problems with it. Opiates can cause constipation but having had a bowel resection this does not affect me!
Thanks, all....your advice is much appreciated. I’ve not been online for a few days so I’ve only just seen your replies. X
