I’ve had Labrynthitis for just over a week now. It’s horrible. Dizzy, ringing in ears and nausea. Do you think it’s okay to take Cinnarizine (Stugeron) with Bisoprolol or having afib?
Any advice about Labrynthitis?

Check with your pharmacist .
I've taken this on a cruise ship for sea sickness whilst taking Bisoprolol and going into AF. Just for a few days though.
.
I take 2 x 2 x 15mg Cinnarizine each day as I get bad nausea and sometimes Labrythitus.
I also take Flecainide and Warfarin. I used to take Bisoprolol but this was stopped as I have Bradycardia.
I would suggest that you just check with your pharmacist is you are concerned but to be honest it is the responsibility of the doctor to check interaction when the medication is prescribed.

Thanks, Pete. How long does your Labrynthitis last? I’ve never had it before. The ringing in my ears is horrible. Hope it goes!
I get this from time to time ever since getting viral labrynthitis about four years ago. Stemitil is what I take.
Thanks for replying. I’ve had it for a week now. I had a series of cold sores and I think it came a few weeks after that.
Ive had it too and tinnotus. Tinmotus can be a hypo symptom. How is your thyroid. If thyroid of wack it can affect heart and other cells/organs in the body. I would ask your doc for a full thyroid panel and if he wont do one including TPO and Trgb antibodies and if jf wont do one you can get them done privately. Ask him to check Vitamin D, B12, Ferritin and folate. Again docs wont always do this due to cost and not always knowing about optimal vitamins or thyroid conditions as they were not trained at Med school unfortunately. If you can get blood test you can post with ranges on here and someone will respond. TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone needs to be below 2, but docs will often say normal if over that and sometimes wont treat till over 10.

I don’t take BISOPROLOL but do get AFib and suffer from Labrythitus. I was prescribed Cinnarizine by the doctor and had no side effects or if I did they were masked by the Labrythitus. What I have found is that everyone responds differently to meds. Check with doc/pharmacist. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon
Hi, I’ve suffered from Vertigo for many years (I actually woke up and turned my head to the left this morning and set it off!) I take Betahistine (Serc) once a day but for acute episodes like today I always take a stugeron for the awful nausea.
I also take Bisoprolol for AF daily.
Hope that helps?
I developed tinnitus and labrynthitis over the past few weeks......not helped by nurse telling me it was wax! I have had vertigo/labrynthitis previously but did not get to tinnitus stage. I have been prescribed cinnarize 2x 15mg x 3 times but told as it gets better cut to half this dose. I also got a nasal spray nasabec aqueous to use 2x each nostril x3 a day again to half when I feel improvement. My GP did look up what was ok to give me as I take bisoprolol and lisinoprol plus warfarin and bumetanide. I have already cut them to half as it is much improvement and have suffered no real side effects other than slightly loosbowel movements. Xx
