Yep I couldn't agree more Wil. I think the most important step is to increase awareness of the condition - people only need to check their pulse to see if there is a problem.

At my doctors there is a TV screen which shows information about drinking limits / giving up smoking etc. You watch it while you wait to see the doctor in the waiting room. Many surgeries have them - why not include the importance of checking your pulse and make people more aware of afib ?

Makes sense to me - will mention it the next time I'm in.

I hope this situation where general health is a crucial factor (along with baldness!) will spur the NHS on to become more of a ‘Wellness’ service eventually though with the huge backlog of essential work building up I guess it is going to be up to us for a long time yet 😷

Yes I'm doing ok,busy gardening and helping my son on his allotment.

But ticking along nicely most of the time ..!
