Yesterday was my 1st time outside of the house for 7 weeks. I took the shielding very seriously and then I had shingles - thankfully now much improved! Anyway all combined to leave me very exercise intolerant but yesterday I got cabin fever and our field was empty - for once - so early morning walk. Felt SO much better but even this left me exhausted.
Saplings thriving from a fallen tree which reminds me of another photo I took in 2000 of an olive tree on top of mountain in Greece - half the tree was a skeleton whilst the other half thrived! Even when fallen - we can rejuvenate and then thrive.

Glad your feeling a lot better CD. Getting out in the air helps clear the cobwebs. Lovely picture, wish I lived in the country, urban life is not too great at the moment. Not walked out of my street in 8 weeks, thankfully have a big garden to look at but frustrated I have no plants to pot☹️. Stay safe, happy Sunday.
Great thoughts and pic. Thanks💜 We are in the state of Missouri in the US, things are loosening up a bit here. This morning is our first church service since early march. It is a small rural church. I doubt( hope) the older bunch stays hope. Im part of the older bunch but since my hubby is pastor, guess I should show up, lol. Im 67, so Im the younger older bunch... the really older bunch are 85 and older. They are the wild ones🤣

How lovely your church is open. We still have to be content with the streaming of virtual services.
If only the wind would stop blowing!! Had to take my little acers in to the conservatory this morning. Love your photo of rejuvenation and it lifts the spirits. Keep well x
Today was the first day we could go further than our road with lockdown.....we drove into morzine. Ten mins away, and wow it was green! Last time we saw it in February, it was covered in snow! IP
