Chest pain and knowing when to get help
Hi John, i would most certainly ring 111
Hi John if there is chest pain I would get it checked.
If you call 999 an ambulance will be sent to your home and they will be able to carry out an ECG there to assess the situation and to decide if further action is necessary.
I live in a tiny hamlet and have seen an ambukance called twice in a week for elderly people with problems who would normally have gone to A&E. I understand the ambulance crews were very understanding and appreciated the people were reluctant to go to A&E in the current circumstances.
One resident was reassured the other taken to hospital.
John, I would echo what has been advised.....phone 111 for advice. Chest pain should not be ignored. Let us know how you get on.
An update called 999 this morning now in hospital post angiogram all clear but problems with ecg something called saddleback picked up on ecg ? . Now waiting to b discharged with opa for specialist
