CDreamer joined this forum back in 2013 and has always provided us with good, sensible advice to help us come to terms with our own problems. I have had the privilege of meeting her twice. We have not spoken about what it was that prompted her to take time out, but I have looked back over previous posts and can certainly understand why she has made her decision. CD rarely talked about her own health situation, but the fact that she is one of the 1.5 million placed in TOTAL lockdown says it all. Also, making it clear this was NOT due AF demonstrates her total empathy with fellow AF patients.
I think it is easy for some members, who dip into this forum only when they themselves have a problem which, of course, is absolutely acceptable, sometimes forget that those who are here almost daily are also ill and that maintaining a fresh attempt at responding to members questions can sometimes be quite stressful.
Having read the posts, at least there was no direct criticism of CD, but they were, in my view, totally insensitive and showed absolutely no compassion for those whose lives have been put in turmoil over recent weeks and whose lives will change for ever, through no fault of their own.
Fortunately, this level of insensitivity rarely happens on this forum but I would ask members who may have strong views about issues, to give some thought to what others might be forced to experience or endure before sending their posts.
This is my personal opinion and I would ask you NOT to reply because the last thing we need is to escalate this and add to CD’s concerns so if you agree, please just click on the “like” button, thanks.
Good luck CDreamer, we all look forward to hearing from you again when the time is right…..
