Just thinking !!!
Health experts say that the Common Flu is more deadly than corona virus [covid 19] the . University of Oxford and WHO estimates that that on average upwards of 500,000 die of Flu infections. Since OCT 20,000 people in the USA died from flu. William Scaffner a vaccine expert at Vanderbilt University and Kaiser Health news [KHN] said, When we think about the relative danger of this new virus and of the Flu there's no comparison, the Corona virus will be a blip on the horizon. That said I will be as cautious as possible and avoid contact with others
as much as possible.

one burning issue, NHS Drs are complaining they have not been issued with Hazard protective kit, poor things, why haven't they done as my daughter has done and gone out an bought her own . The poor Nurse on TV crying because the super market was sold out, she could do as my daughter did when Sainsburys, Tesco and Lidle were sold out, she drove else where to find what she needed, indeed my sister in law who is a nurse arranged for home delivery as she is doing double shifts, As we say in the Army " We have no problems , only solutions" snowflakes or what, Ref lack of toilet paper= as my Gran would say= hang your bum over the sink and wash your bum. Eyes Front.
Words fail me and I don’t believe I can reasonably or politely reply to either of your posts.
Hi CDreamer,
Gosh, I cant believe words fail you? how ever>
The way I dealt with controversial issues/disagreements as a housing manager was to analyse the content of the issue that my residents were complaining about, I would then consider my reply to their complaints and then consider what answer I may possibly receive from my residents so that I could reply with a sensible counter answer. To that end please disprove any thing that I have said that is incorrect. ref the Corona virus and Flu. I was simply reporting that which I had researched from various government depts. including the WHO, and Scientists. Ref my opinion concerning a nurse moaning and crying on TV about not being able to buy food and the Doctor who on TV bemoaned that fact she hasn't received any protective clothing! please explain where I am wrong in suggesting that in the short term Doctors could buy there own protective clothing as my daughter and sister in law have done. Indeed when I went to the Falklands I and some of my men bought our own winter kit. That said this isn't face book and we are going away from the remit of this great site. We will sir have to agree to disagree. To every one I do apologise for my posts if they offend any one. Keep well and smile life is too short to worry.
Thank you.
A reminder to all, please be courteous, and please, at this very difficult time, try not to antagonise others.
We are all in this together.
Let's try using positivity and friendship rather than being discourteous and rude.
Please also, read and familiarise yourselves with the forum rules.
Thanks in advance

Hello CD., I have since joining read a lot of your posts and replies but have missed a few days due to the circumstances we find ourselves in. So was amazed to read that you are taking a break and thought I would see if I could find the reason behind you obviously being upset. I think I may have found it! This thread! Ignore the ignorant. He may have been in the Falklands, but he was certainly no officer or gentleman. My thoughts are with you and please don't stay away too long as you are going to be so missed. Take care, Patsy
