I think most of you here know this, but I found the mention of intermittent fasting interesting.

Many thanks for that. Most interesting, I never tire of reading such articles, there is always a relevant take somewhere, even if it is just a sentence.😊

Thanks for this link. It's good to hear these things again and as Hidden says there is usually a relevant take somewhere.

Yeh I think so, it's a hell of a journey

I do IF nearly every day and it doesn't adversely affect my AF as far as I can tell. I can't say whether it's beneficial AF-wise either. But it helps with keeping my insulin levels down. Reading up on it, there may be a link, direct or indirect, between insulin resistance and AF.

Thank you for this link to a very interesting article. My original thought was"I am not fasting - it will interrupt my digestive system." But that's not what it's about.

He is suggesting that you should not eat between 7pm & 7am. Well, I already do that! Surely it's misleading to call it FASTING.

There's some excellent advice here. Not sure about the wild salmon ( I only like it tinned!)

I think the tinned salmon is wild rather than farmed.

That's good to know.

Hi Andy :-) I don't eat between 5pm and 8 am (I drink only water) and call that a 'mini fast' after watching a Michael Mosely programme about some research into eating times ...

As I wished to lose weight when diagnosed with P-AF to comply with the LEGACY study of %10 weight loss I also switched my main meal of the day to lunchtime so that I was not sitting around after eating in the evening . I lost 1.5 stone quite easily and as the lifestyle changes were permanent I have kept the weight off.
