Increased statins

Would an increase of statins bring on anxiety and atrial flutter ?

IMHO the very thought of an increase in statins would bring on anxiety without AF or AFl! However, if you are at risk because of uncontrollable cholesterol levels because of familial cholesterol they may be required?

They are known to deplete the body’s ability to produce COQ10.

Let us know what you find out. I have a fib snd have been on a statin 2 yr.

He prescribed an increase of citalopram 10 mg and a months supply of diazepram, too wary to take either ........

He said the statins would not cause af it's my anxiety that's causing it .....

I have been taking sertraline, an antidepressant and antianxiety drug fir 2 yr. It has helped me alot with anxiety which also helps with a fib. I havent had any a fib in over 18 mo.
