Underwent my first cardioversion yesterday after pills failed to rest my heart to normal. The process was very simple and was over in just a few minutes. Wuke up fresh in just a few minutes feeling just fine. I had a medical procedure go wrong the week before which blinded my dominant 20/20 corrected and now I'm using a 20/60 rye. man has my world been upended. I am wondering if the shock of the eye problem could have caused the heart problem,.

It’s possible, stress, anxiety and AF often go together. However, it’s good news that the CV has got you back into rhythm. Even if it does not work for long, it’s a good indicator that you may be suitable for an ablation if that’s the route you decide to take. Suggest you take it as easy as possible to give your heart the chance to settle and avoid alcohol, caffeine and large meals for a while. Lifestyle improvements can have a massive effect on improving and reducing AF. Check out the AF Association website and find out all you can to help understand what is best for you, all the best.....
