Ectopics are very common and are nearly always benign.
I think you should not worry about them as worry and stress are two of the things you should avoid if you are prone to AF.
If it is two and a half years since your ablation and Ectopics are your only symptoms you can relax.

Hi
Thanks so much for that.I am not on medication and don't want to be hence the ablation.something of a vicious circle ,get ectopics and get anxiety and so it goes around.Would love to know of any natural remedies.Don't know what is causing these as just happen for no reason.total mystery, much worse since ablation.
Address your anxiety - plenty of therapies to choose from - start with learning breathing exercise & finding a focus on something that you enjoy. Finding pleasure in something releases endorphins which counter cortisol, the stress hormone.
I was getting loads of ectopics so I was given a 14 day monitor. The results came back as completely normal and benign, and since then my ectopics have reduced significantly. Anxiety probably the reason.
These are completely normal, and whilst not pleasant always it is often down to stress, fatigue, dehydration (lack of electrolytes) etc.
I get them still and I am a year and a 1/4 post ablation.
Half the battle is the psychological war you fight inside. Once you accept they are not harmful, then you’ll find they mysteriously become less prevalent and you won’t notice them half as much.
As always if you feel short of breath, dizziness with them then always seek medical help as a precaution. Better to be safe than sorry.
Hope that helps?
Magnesium Taurate worked for me (ie lessened them significantly). Good luck.
I had my ablation a year and half ago and was troubled with eptopics, I don't know if it's the magnesium turate I take or the knowledge that they are nothing to worry about but mine have reduced to maybe a dozen a week if that.
So try to relax and enjoy life
I believe this maybe the residual a-fib signal coming through or as a result of the pulmonary vein isolation it self which can cause atrial flutter. As far as I know it may be cured with another small ablation. What has helped for me with controlling ectopics was getting more sleep and I have to say during the summer months this helped also, as the sunlight helped my whole body function better. If you live in the northern hemisphere, like me you are more likely to have fib. They have the lowest cases in the Pacific equatorial region. Things you can also try which I have are: Removing all stimulants, sugar, reduce grains, no alcohol, keep well hydrated, see homeopathic practitioner (this has helped me). have your back checked as the nerves are linked to the heart if the back is out it can cause a-fib. Added to this, electro magnetic fields from wi-fi and phones and transmitters can cause heart palpitations in some individuals Calcium influx/efflux . Especially turn off devices at night. Your Vitamin or I should say hormone D levels need to be high this helps with overall heart health and immunity. The other big one is to look after your gut flora. try and eat as much organic food without glyphosate in it as it is anti microbial. I have posted on my Youtube channel (not for profit) a video on my heart attack and a-fib and what I found helps. My channel is called Cuore di. Vita . It is on the playlist under heart health. I would also say that having understanding loving people around you is very helpful and keep in a positive mindset. You will get rid of the ectopics. Believe they will go!!Look at the body holistically. God bless you cpotts
