Had the 24 hr monitor and if showed up 500 ectopics. That was a mild day. Does anyone get six a minute. Been told it is anxiety making them worse and nothing to worry about. Admit I am very anxious and keep taking my pulse for missing beats.

Ectopic beats
Bad day 15-16 a minute, good day 8-10 a minute.
Hi is that all day long. Mine is and go you take any medication. Thanks for replying ☺️
Should say do you take any medication.
Yep all day long, over 20,000 a day sometimes. When I see my Cardio next I will either go on meds or have an ablation.
I am very worried about it, but they say they are harmless. Seem to be increasing. Hope you get on OK
Unless you get significant symptoms like passing out caused by pauses then docs won't be interested plus they are very hard to treat and meds can make them worse rather than better.
Hope do you cope. I can’t sit still I feel them worse then. I had an arrest years ago, but they say it is not the same thing. I had VT. so I suppose I am worrying more. Have you had them long. I can feel my heart flipping all the while. I had 12 a minute for about an hour today, had now subsided to about 6. Thanks for replying nice to know someone with the same. I wonder what triggers them.
I've had them for years but got worse in the last year hence yet more tests, I've also got MVA and according to new Cardio I have AFib although I wasn't aware of it !
Some days I don't notice any of it but some days are a struggle, just have to keep plodding on 😞
I hope you can find a solution, it's no fun is it.
Use search box to find breathing exercise. VERY helpful to control ectopics
I get these everytime i change my posture, if i am slightly leaning back i get 2 quick beats and than it goes back to normal, but afterwards my anxiety goes up which causes pain in my chest such a horrible cycle
Horrible things but they can be lessened - breathing excercise as Bob suggests is one of the best treatments that I've come across. They breed on anxiety and 'watching' for them is something we all do but which makes them worse. Sometimes I can get rid of them by mild excercise or activity which lifts my mind from them.
Since I was switched from 1.25mg Bisoprolol to 2.5mg Nebivolol my ectopics are very infrequent and quite 'light'.
Last year I had terrible ectopics sadly coming from the top and bottom chambers. A change of meds has completely erradicated them for the time being. Excercise 8000 to 9000 steps a day a change of diet because of IBS and keeping hydrated has also played a part I think. Lost weight too. I am just a bit worried about the amount of better blocker percribed but its made such a difference after months of sleepless nights and general fatigue. I hope you get it sorted.
May I suggest you stop using the monitor - it sounds as though it’s only feeding your anxiety. Focus instead on soothing your anxiety - breathing techniques are a good place to start but try listening to this podcast to learn your triggers and do something about it.

Yes I get eptopics a lot too , different things bring it on including food , wouldn’t think it’s just anxiety , that’s like blaming you for your eptopics , yes been told their not a problem but frustrating all the same , mine came on after I started a new AF medication TAMBOCOR , and I’ve decided to have Ablation so I can come of it . If your not convinced with your doctor get another opinion , my experience with doctors is most think they know everything when in reality they know the basics and keep dosing you up on medication to “see what works “
