Hi everyone I’m pretty new to this forum and recently told have atrial tachycardia following a EPS so waiting for an ablation. The thing is I also have ANCA associated vasculitis ( I’m on the forum) which was diagnosed a year ago. Up until 3 years ago I was a fit and healthy 43 years old. Then following a bad infection requiring hospitalisation and surgery various symptoms began to surface including heart issues. My question is does anyone on here also have other autoimmune disorders on top of heart problems. I’m convinced there is a link looking at my time line.
I may be on the wrong forum but would be interested to know if anyone else has a type of vasculitis/ immune disorder too
Thanks

Mish - you are right on target. Got flu and had my first episode of Vent Tachycardia. Your body will work out a new norm. Ask dr. what is you exercise limit and if you can find a recumbent bike you can watch heart rate and get in the exercise for largest muscle and your heart. Have a blessed day.
My mum had vasculitis also known as giant cell arteritis. She was in dreadful pain in her head for a year with doctors/hospitals giving her things like aspirin (worst thing ever), almost going blind, until finally taking her to a different hospital as an emergency as she was being sick with the pain, a doctor recognised it for what it was and after a very long course of high steroids gradually reducing the dosage she was fine. Thankfully she didn’t have a heart problem though. I know just what you are going through as knowing what mum had and my atrial fibrillation/tachycardia and brain tumour I’m full of sympathy for you. I do hope you feel better very soon. At least the vasculitis is curable and the afib/tachycardia will be controlled. Take care and know everyone on this forum is rooting for you and each other.
