DAPAGLIFLOZIN has been identified for promising new use in the treatment of heart problems by the University of Glasgow. This drug is currently being used for the treatment of Diabetes type 2. Anyone know anything about this drug?

Not heard of this and nothing on Google about it being used for heart conditions. Doubt it would help AF.

Doesn't AF sometimes lead to heart failure?

I take canaglaflozin for T2 so a similar drug. Its a kind of diuretic which gets rid of the sugar via the urine. Didn't stop me getting AF is all I can say.

It’s for treating type 2 diabetes. It makes you pass sugar in large amounts in urine.it can help with weight loss but there are side efffects like thrush and uti s. I couldn’t tolerate it .
