Eggs-actly what's needed for Xarelto?!

Have been reading through the UK posts on when and with what kind of food to take Xarelto. Eggs have been mentioned frequently, but I'm not quite sure what the group wisdom is. Am I right in thinking that taking Xarelto with an egg would satisfy all the criteria for protein etc to allow maximum metabolism of the drug?

(Easter ones eggs-cluded of course!)

The bulletin specifically mentioned that fat had to be present.

Thanks, BobD - maybe quantity isn't important in which case the full fat milk I take with my morning cereal should be fine.

Take care

I take all my pills with my evening meal so it would make no difference. That way any possible side effects will not slow me down during the day.

Taking all your pills with main meal sounds a good idea. At least you sleep off any side effects. I have been taking Bisoprolol in the morning but feel lethargic most of the day and can't sleep at night
