Come on Booboo, you only had your ablation last Friday. The scar tissue has had no chance to form yet, so your worrying right now is unnecessary.

Still far too early to worry Booboo. Yogi says hang in there it is very early days. With your chest infection I would be amazed if you weren't in AF. Relax love all will be OK in the end and if it isn't OK it isn't the end.

Hi x calmed down a bit now...they wont let me leave as 160bpm...tried metropol no effect at all so stopping in as there isnt a cardiologist in the whole bloody hospital until tomorrow. Anyway need to try to get back on a positve track so could i just ask....

Is this normal....i was told it was a success on Friday so why has this happened.... does this mean its failed or likley to fail....is it just the scar tissue that hasnt formed? This happened on my first ablation and just got worse and ended up really badly. Ive asked tbe Doc all this must he looked at me blank but as he said its a specalist area...so im asking you!!! Just had tramadol and orimorph for my pain...feel like dancing...may convert or kill me !!!

The day after my third ablation when I was meant to be leaving hospital, my heart took off like yours. I felt dreadful with the high rate and when they saw what it was I was kept in and put back on Flecainide and Metoprolol and the next afternoon it went back to normal. I went back to stay with my daughter, but about 6 weeks later my heart rate shot up again and I needed a cardioversion to bring it back to sinus rhythm. Since then I seem to get mild AF every winter, but am so much better.

Perfectly normal I'm afraid. I have similar but not as bad and of course no chest infection, In threee months you will know if it worked . Just chill babe.

Hope all goes well when you see the Cardiologist, at least you are being looked after in best place. The recent hot spell & dust in the atmosphere won’t be helping anyone, it triggered an event for me last night . ( I had got complacent) These things always seem to happen over Bank Holidays . Good Luck with all 💖

Yes hang in there Booboo, can imagine how scared N devastated you must feel, for not being in control right now, and for not being at home. My ablation was 6weeks ago N still watching my pulse like a hawk. Hopefully they will bring it back for you v soon. And your recovery will be back on track xxx

Just hoping that maybe things have settled down for you and that the Cardiologist has reported for work today.

It is very scary I know but comfort yourself that you are in the best place in the circumstances and that you are not at home wondering what the best course of action might be.
