Being slack and forgetful ....... episode 2

Hi there everybody,

Many thanks for all your supportive/amusing comments .......... I feel good now, especially as I took all my doses yesterday without a hitch ! :-) :-) :-)

I have to say though, hanging my head in shame - I do have NOT ONLY a pill organiser - with each day split into three parts, morning, noon and night, but a Dose reminder app on my smartphone :-( :-(

The system failed !

Well ya gotta have a laugh haven't you ..... perish the thought of Jeans punishment of 100 lines !

My track record of doing this is about 2 or 3 times a year ..... always when I'm at home, never when I am away from home.

Bless.

John

Only just read your first post.

Recently I have been dealing with the sad loss of my Mother in Law including numerous meetings, long distance journeys and phone calls.

On returning from a long trip on Saturday evening my wife said to me ‘have you taken your tablets tonight?’

I said “oh yes must do that”. On opening my day to day tablet box I discovered I had forgotten to take Thursday and Friday’s doses.

I take 5 different tablets at tea time each day including Flecainide, Warfarin and Statins.

I was keeping quiet as I didn’t want to admit that my brain is scrambled but now I have a fellow defaulter I will come clean.

Although like you I seem to have had no obvious effects so now wonder if I would be OK lowering my Flecainide dose.

Sorry to hear about your Mother in Law Pete, I know she has had a difficult time but it doesn’t make it any easier. Hope you and particularly your wife get through the next few weeks OK.......

Thanks John

Certainly has made my short term memory worse.

Heart holding up which is the good news.
