Handy!

Well this is handy! Just as I got into bed at 11pm AT kicked off. I'm away from home e..hubby at home approximately 115 miles away..im.staying with elderly relatives, one of whom had a cataract operation few weeks ago,the other had a brain bleed few months ago..both unable to drive yet. I have no car here!

Also this is where I had my TIA in 2017... Trying not to think about that....

Not dehydrated, not overeaten, not drunk alcohol..had a caffeinated tea by mistake at 6 pm...(?)

Know it will to away..tried the usual first responses...but just took my PIP Flec dose to make sure...come on! Kick in!!!

Typical?.......don't have much charge left so intend to read for a bit and charge up in case ....

See you soon campers..

Hope it leaves you soon. Only thing worse than having a fib is having a fib not at home. Prayers❤️

Sounds like you have vagally mediated AF and the brain triggered the episode remembering your TIA in that place on top of being away from home; this has happened twice to me on revisiting the place of a bad early episode. I have overcome it to some degree now through meditation/mindfullness/confidence on lifestyle changes and as one southern Stateside member said here recently 'letting Jesus take the wheel'! Hope all OK now.

Thank you, hadn't thought of the subconscious effect... I'm good now x

Oh this is typical of our luck isn’t it?

I really hope you feel better soon. As you have said you know all the first responses and now it is a matter of time.

Take care and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

It was explained to me how the subconscious brain can make links of which you are not aware and trigger things. I guess therefore the chances of this happening would go up a bit but mental preparation as secondtry suggests will help enormously. Hope all good by now.

Just having a nice cuppa all settled quite soon after the PIp last night thankfully x

Typical isn't it. Hope this morning finds you feeling better and back in nsr. The stress of looking after your relatives won't have helped, plus the travel and being somewhat isolated. All a perfect storm to encourage af to lurk in the shadows. Best wishes,

So glad that your PIP worked and that NSR has resumed. I agree that sometimes our brains and subconscious are our worst enemies. Tell yourself that you have it mastered and it must now keep quiet. Best wishes. xx

Another one to put down to experience Wilson :-) pleased to hear it is over .

I have given up trying to work out what causes my episodes, the last one a week ago lasting 10 hours happened when I was feeling calm and had just mown the lawn.
