I don’t think it matters what time you take bisoprolol as long as you take it regularly the same time each day. You should take rivaroxaban with food (food needs to contain some fat or oil) again, the same time every day.

That was what I was advised when I started these meds.

When I was taking bisoprolol daily,I found it best to take at night as got less side effects then.

Rivaroxaban is supposed to be taken with your evening meal assuming that is your main meal of the day. If you eat a 'full English' daily breakfast is fine 😀

I have always taken my Rivaroxaban with my evening meal as recommended. Betablockers I take after breakfast.

I'm intrigued by the replies. When I have been admitted to hospital the nurses tend to give me my medication after breakfast so I have always done the same. I may try the Bisoprolol at night to see whether that helps with the feeling of being mown down by a tractor!

That’s how I felt. The surgeon said to take it at night so you sleep through the majority of the dose and during the day the amount in your system gets less. Makes sense to me and I’ve been fine taking it so far.

I take exactly the same but I was taking the beta blocker as and when I had AF. I’ve just had an ablation so am back on my bisoprolol daily and as it can make me groggy I’ve been told to take at night rather than morning when I normally take the rivaroxaban. I now take both at night which works just as well.

I don’t think it matters so long as it’s the same time of day
