Metoprolol and diazepam

Evening all

I'm not sure if this is the Wright place to post this but I've just been changed to 50mgx2 metrolplol per day but my anxiety has started to show its head again what id like to know is does anyone take diazepam with metoprolol or know if it's safe to do so I've googled it but I'm getting mixed answers

Dunno, but if you are in the UK, why not ask your pharmacist.......

Thanks for all the comments can I ask what dose Diaz people are on the gp told me to take 2.5mg at night for 3 days then upto 5.mg per night if needed

I've gotten my cardiologist's okay to take clonazepam with metoprolol and diltiazem when I have an A-fib event. The clonazepam helps control the anxiety associated with the arrhythmia. I do take a small amount though, a quarter of the tablet.
