Yes it is quite common and I suffered from this problem quite badly for about 18 months after my last ablation.

It has calmed down now but I am now still very aware of my heart during and after meals.

I believe it is related to your Vegas nerve which links your brain, heart and digestive system.

Try eating smaller meals, that may help you.

Hopefully it will get better for you as time passes.

Yes, totally agree on not eating too much at one time. Or as I eat try to let food settle- not eating a lot real fast Another friend I have who has Afib has also noticed that a large heavy meal is sometimes fallowed with Afib episode.

Yes I get them anywhere from right after to 2 hours after I eat. It’s a daily problem for me

Yes, often. The trick is to stay sitting for at least 20-30 minutes after eating and if you can’t - don’t eat. Eating on the go - always a disaster for me.

Yes especially if we are out with friends and I indulge in a dessert.

Hmm - short answer yes if i eat late at night - solution I take a large swig of gaviscon before i go to bed and now i do not get a problem - however think twice about hot spices late at night.

Hello✨Yes. High carb-Or, anything processed at all is no good for me. And, hot sauce was a trigger.

Also, Nothing decaf processed either. Only caffeine free, like chamomile tea.

Yep. Every meal. It is especially bad if I eat too much. Sometimes it doesn't happen until about an hour after I eat. I will also get them if I am hungry.

While I was on bisoprolol I had horrible ectopicsespecialky after eating, it was so depressing. When I changed to calcium channel blockers they stopped and it changed my life. Good luck
