The Viatom ecg

Hi Cadgie,

Similar to my story. I had worsening palpitations over about 2 and half years, between mid 2007 and Jan 2010.

Thing is, by the time I got to my GP for an ECG they had stopped, and this happened on each of the many occasions over those 2 and half years. In the end I gave up .... until the morning AF hit me ..... GP whipped me off to A & E .... job done, and in about 9 hours from onset of feeling unwell with falling blood pressure I was diagnosed with paroxysmal AF. Actually, the speed of diagnosis and treatment was invaluable and I still maintain was a major reason why my AF hasn't gone ballistic and got outta control. The heart simply never got the chance to get settled into its new and dysfunctional life.
