Hi

Pycnogenol as anybody taken this while being on Apixaban ?. My husband thinks it will be good for me to try but I am reluctant to take anything new. I had a unprovoked blood clot in my right lung and now have to take blood thinners for the rest of my life . Would love to know if anybody as tried it and was it beneficial

I would be cautious. There are some sites that say it can interact with blood thinners. I would check with your doctor before you start to take it.

Hi just seen this post, yes my husband has been taking Pharma Nord 2 x 40mg Bio-Pycnogenol for years, he then had to start taking Warfarin & had no ill effects, he was taken of Warafin & put onto Apixaban when Covid hit & has carried on with 2 x 40mg Pycnogenol as has no ill effects.
