I have an anemia question

I got a ferritin transfusion aug of 2018 for anemia. now a yr later my amemia is back and my ferritin which was suppose to back down to 400 or less (it use to be about 230). is 700 so i can't get another transfusion cause it's to high. did anyone else on here have this problem. I have no idea how long it will be fefore in goes back down to 400 or less. It seems like theres no way to lower ferritin without lowering iron and the iron is already to low.

I’ve had ferritin infusions before my hysterectomy. But ok now. I hope things work out for you on this soon. 😊

Hi Joe, I've had a Ferritin drip just this week to help with my AF. It produces more red blood cells in order to supply me with extra O2. Anyway I'm not sure about levels etc but was told I'd need another in 12 months.
