Extreme Dizziness

I developed extreme dizziness 5 weeks after my ablation. For all intents and purposes, every medical exam indicates I'm the healthiest person on the planet. Yet sometimes walking or standing is almost impossible. If anyone of has had an ablation and found a way to overcome this, please let me know.

Hey Mikey! I had my ablation few months ago and I'm maybe the 2nd healthiest person on the planet if you're the first one ;)

But even if my diet is well balanced, my mind is peaceful and my body is active, I had been really tired the next 2 months following my ablation. I remember a day I was walking in the forest my girlfriend by my side and 30min later I told her I felt dizzy and tired and we came back home.

Don't be too hard on yourself, it's been only 5 weeks.

Have a nice day!

Give yourself time to recover. It can take three to six months as we explain in our fact sheet on recovery.

And don't be doing too much the first two weeks. If you resumed "normal activities" by the second week, go back to being almost a couch potato. Your body is telling you that you are doing too much. Remember that an ablation is burning or freezing tissue inside your heart!
