Autumn sunset

Over the past twelve months whilst dealing with my heart issues, I’ve learnt the importance of slowing down, living in the moment and appreciating the beauty in nature. This evening I was driving home and the sky was magnificent so I stopped, got out of my car and watched the sunset. I took a few photos to share with my family and friends. We often have good sunsets but this one was really spectacular. Tomorrow promises to be a beautiful day.

Beautiful x

Thankyou for sharing the beauty with us! You are in Australia, correct? I love seeing pics of places I probably will not get to travel too, thanks again. I agree with your philosophy on living in the moment💜

Yes, Western Australia. We love traveling and exploring the world but it’s always nice to come home to Oz.

I’ve been traveling vicariously too for the past two years (I’ve traveled all over the world via my Facebook friends 😀). Now I’m feeling better I’m finally researching and planning another real trip.

We’re planning Croatia and the Greek Islands next year. Maybe back in the UK the following year (as long as my getting back to work plans work)

Isn’t it great to live near the sea? I’m on the English south coast with a south facing garden with our best view towards the coast to the southeast so we get some special sunrises.

Yes, I couldn’t imagine not living near the water

Beautiful pictures. Isn't it wonderful when we slow down, how much more we see and appreciate.

I haven’t started back as yet. I’m still waiting for confirmation of a start date - I’ve suggested the last week or May or first week of June.

Yep, still in NSR. Waiting to receive some documents about work. I’ve said I’ll start last week in May or first week in June and hopefully I’ll get what I asked for - starting with 3 days a week with one of those days working from home 🤞🏻🤞🏻
