CAN YOU FORE TELL AFIB ATTACK

I've had 2 ablations which were pretty successful. The first lasted 7 years and the second 2 years so far. In the last couple of months I've been having head rushes. I feel like I'm about to pass out but haven't so far. I think I'm going to have an attack of afib soon. Have any of you had this experience? Pam

Sweetiepye: Try some deep breathing. I get these head rushes too - I can feel the blood coming into my ears and as soon as I feel this strange attack coming on, I start breathing deeply. In fact, prior to the attack, I find myself holding my breath. You have to be aware that you are holding your breath. Make it a point, several times a day to breathe deeply. Once I start breathing, the head rush vanishes. I was at the PT's about a month ago, and she was the one who pointed out that I hold my breath. Breathe deeply.

Thank you, no I wasn't aware I was holding my breath at the time, but I know I sometimes do that. I will try that the next time , and there is always a next time. Pam
