Well came of the Nebivol 2 days now in and out of Afib 😩😩 hate the way it makes you feel as you all know bloody awful ! Rant over going to fight not going back on them ! Can’t win on tabs heart rate goes low as 47 off tabs heart rate up down like a yo yo and resting 130 it’s a nightmare ! Anyone else when in Afib struggle to talk coherently ? I do , I think people think I’m drunk !

This may sound daft, but would be worth discussing the dose with your doctor. If it’s possible, maybe a lower dose would be better for you....

I was on halve of the 2.5 mg so only on 1.25 tried halving this dose but could not get them equal as no score in the middle ?

in reply to Supernerogirl

If you want to try Nebivolol 1.25mgs the 5mg tablet is double scored (+). I found I could get reasonably equal quarters.

just ordered a pill cutter to get my 2.5 in to 4 equal pieces 🙏

Are you sure it is AF? when I stopped taking my betablocker (Bisoprolol) I had a few weeks of terrible palpitations and tachycardia whilst my heart was adjusting to having the brakes released.

I was convinced that the AF was back as the palpitations went on for minutes , as did the increased HR. Even my Kardia said possible AF, but on review by a professional it was just ectopics

Awww ok could be but how do you really know the difference ? As I have no machine to tell me etc ? That makes sense though

in reply to Supernerogirl

It can be a bit tricky, but I usually feel my pulse with two fingers on my neck.

This video might help, as will many of his other ones on the subject of AF

I have found magnesium and being well hydrated helps a lot in the reduction of palpitations
