Well after having an inconclusive echo saying I could have left ventricle failure to an MRI saying no actually it's all good then to a nuclear profusion scan indicating possible coronary disease to an angiogram saying my arteries are good and clear. It's been a rough 6 months so finally I now know all is good. I still get racing heart occasionally and heart sometimes over fast ( in my opinion anyway) at least I know nothing major. And relax........
All clear now - finally!: Well after... - Atrial Fibrillati...
All clear now - finally!

As I think most of us know,. Atrial Fibrillation does not need a diseased heart to occur. In fact most of us will have perfecetly healthy hearts mechanically as only the electrics are the parts that are out of kilter. Sadly this is often more problematic to sort out than the plumbing where a simple stent procedure would often solve the problem in no time.
Glad you are happy about the mechanics and good luck with the rest of your arrhythmia journey. We are here when you need us.
I’m sure that is a relief for you but also indicates the imprecise nature of many of these very expensive tests.
That's good to hear sorry it's taken so many tests tovgetvtherecthojgh. At least you know you have a sound heart.
Nice one, keep well fella 👌
Cheers. Thanks
Hi Bmwpau it's good to hear you are now in a relaxed state and well .
Keep it up..!
I am glad to hear that. I spent last year with lots of tests and it was concluded that while my heart is structurally sound the electrics were not. After a pace & ablate I am still not fully functional ie still very breathless on exertion. Waiting now for an RF ablation as my EP thinks that it is all to do with the chaos of my irregular heartbeat albeit in the back ground. I hope that they are able to give you a firm diagnosis which helps you go forward rather than worry, like me. I live isolated on my own and am deaf so it is difficult not to worry. Maybe you have additional problems that don`t help.
Good luck and please post again. The more you post the better feedback you get.
Hi. Yes J still have electrical problems. SVT and ectopics but they are now suppressed for the most part. But at least it us structurally and functional normal. My wiring is not normal, I know that, but while its controlled with tablets not much more I can do. I have had holter monitors and loads of ecg's and all that's come back from that is ectopics.
So pleased for you. Stay well. 🙏
Hey thanks. I still feel tired and funny lots of times and I can tell my heart is not impressed. I just have to take it easy on those days. It is depressing at times. So no verdict on me, just ruled major things out which is a massive relief in itself. I am now discharged but at least ectopics under control. But no improvement on heart rate when exerting myself. But hay ho..... just have to accept that.
Can I just ask what meds you take for ectopics? Or is it the same pill for svt and ectopics?
Hi. I used to take proprananol then bisoprolol for SVT. Bisoprolol made my ectopics worse so cardiologist switched me to Verapamil a calcium channel blocker. Brilliant for ectopics on me and controls SVT too. The only thing I noticed is it doesnt control the heart rate on exertion as well as the beta blockers did. It can pound at times. Saying that, there is no way would I go swop back to having ectopics. They effect life in such a horrible way.
