I was wondering if return of AF after a successful Ablation 2 months ago could be linked to anxiety? I have got a lot of quite big worries at the moment, not helped by being bitten by my cat yesterday and waiting to see an out of hours doctor. I am also coming off Bisoprolol with a view to making me less tired. Any suggestions please? Why do these things seem to happen on Bank Holidays!? Thanks . Liz

Stress can stir up a fib but also only 2 months out from ablation, your heart is still adjusting. Glad you are seeing the doc. Cat bites can be nasty, you will probably get an antibiotic. Best wishes, try and relax when you get home and tell the cat it is pushing its luck!!!

Thank you Hoski. That is very helpful. My husband agrees that Ollie is pushing his luck! I have now got suitable antibiotics and AF confirmed and back on the Bisoprolol. But that’s ok. I must just keep calm and carry on!
I was on 10mg daily and like you I had to go to Dr as I felt ridiculously tired. He cut the dose to 2.5mg. I was on this for 3 months. I went for a med review and my bp was a bit high so they upped it to 5mg. I feel ok now.
Best wishes
