Why do I bleed less on edoxaban than Aspirin

Had some blood tests this morning & find it strange that I had very little bleeding afterwards & I would have a lot on aspirin. Is this because edoxaban stops clots forming & aspirin thins the blood. It always worries me "how do I know edoxaban is working "

Aspirin is not an anticoagulant it is an antiplatelet and as such makes blood slghtly less "sticky". Nothing really thins blood but anticoagulants like edoxaban slow down the clotting process . It should be well known that aspirin actually carries great risks than anticoagulants with far fewer benefits. .

I think the short answer to your second question is that while you can be pretty certain your edoxaban is working, you can’t be absolutely sure. I don’t think there is a routine test available to check this, at least not comparable to the INR used to monitor warfarin treatment.
