Can anyone tell me how accurate blood pressure readings are when in AF? mine is currently saying 97/77 pulse going at 130bpm post hoovering, have had to sit down.

Not very in short. Really best to have it checked with the old fashioned pump up and listen type.

I’m no Dr., but it sounds like you are in Afib, given the high HR. I go up in the 120-140 range when in Afib, 60-80 when not.

I have had the same blood pressure reading when I was in AF. Low BP and high heart rate in the 120s to 130s. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone!

If you're lacking in fluids (water) that can take your BP down low. Drink some now and then see how it goes.

As you sit take some deep breaths in the hope that it will calm your heart and reduce your pulse rate. Not too many mind as they can take you BP down even lower. Some people say that when their BP drops AF can strike.
