Left foot red, warm, swollen, no pain. On eliquis after my ablation. Anyone with experience on this? When I elevated it for a bit the color and swelling went down. Still warm tho.

Since you are anticoagaulated it is unlikely to be a clot but I think you should speak to your doctor about this soon just in case it is something serious. May be nothing to do with your heart of course. We all blame that don't we?

I have suffered recently with an attack of gout which I get quite often I find the trigger too much/many chocolate Twirl sticks and Love Hearts. I have AF and take Warfarin, I cut out the treats and dose myself with Zapain and Montmarencey Cherry Juice from Holland and Barratt, recommended by a fellow sufferer. The redness, swelling, heat quite soon goes but I do suffer quite bad pain. You could ask your GP to investigate your uric acid level, my GP once told me that it could be a med that I was taking that was giving me the gout but pain was still quite bad. Best of luck , Gladys xx.

Talk to your doctor about the foot. Been on Eliquis for several years and no issues.
