Blood clot pain?

Anyone have a blood clot in their leg after an ablation? What did it feel like?

No but many people panic over the lump in their groin which forms. as the wound heals. This can be very uncomfortable and the bruising can be extensive. All part of the healing process. If you are worried speak to your arrhythmia nurse.

Hi, I have had a blood clot in my leg after a 5 hr car journey. It was missed by my GP after 2 visits so I went myself to a specialist. The pain was like a cross between cramp and a pulled muscle & was somewhat intermittent in intensity (can't explain why). If in doubt it's A & E as the clot busting drugs don't work if left and the valves returning the blood to the heart get damaged.

Yes, had a huge haematoma after my first ablation which didn't show up until 4 days later. Multi coloured hot and painful. Had some off the blood removed (cant remember name of procedure) and that eased the tightness. Took weeks to dissipate.
