Hi

Not been in for a while posting but have been reading your posts

I had ablation for flutter April 2018 everything fine still got the odd ectopic but copeable

Thursday this week had to undergo a autonomic function test to see why BP drops and I have syncope and pre syncope.

During these tests my heart just did not like it what so ever!! I had ‘runs’ of fast and missed beats and the old familiar flutters returned with an absolute vengeance!! It interfered with the test somewhat and it made it very hard for them to gather the data my HR varied between 34-120

The worse thing is my EP has literally just discharged me from his clinic!!

I feel wrecked worn out shattered no energy and even today still having these ‘runs’

I assume if anything in toward showed I will be called in other than that don’t see the dr until 21st May to discuss results etc which I think is way to long to wait I’m now just gonna have to wait and try and ‘switch’ off from it all by doing self therapy (well I am a fully qualified councillor in mental health I should know what to do haha)

The respiratory physiologist said looks like you may have to be referred back to EP!!

Me not happy at all!! I’m just assuming the stress my body was put under is what triggered it all off again

Here’s hoping it settles down and soon!! I really do not want to go through an ablation again

Thanks for reading appreciate the feedback and support

Write to your EP and explain what has happened. He may be able to "switch" you back into the system. That s what i do with mine.

Oh dear I do hope you feel better soon. Could you not ring the hospital and ask for an earlier appointment if you explain what has happened. Probably the consultant's secretary would be the best person to call.
