Flecainide dreams!

Had my first odd dream last night! Was abducted by a gentleman with a cheese grater! I appeared to have one in my handbag too, but not such an involved model!!

The last time I take Flecainide as a PIP after 10 o’clock at night!😂

😀😀

Doesn't sound two grate

Love it!

Was this a common REM waking dream, where you quickly realise it was just a dream, or a so called hypnopompic hallucination where you wake up suddenly, believing you are in a situation which feels alien and often frightening? I had one of these recently where I thought I was falling. It was realistic and alarming.

I only ask because NICE lists hallucinations as a rare side effect of Flecainide.

I’m not sure what Jung would have made of your cheese grater dream, but carrying one round in your handbag might suggest someone prepared for all eventualities 🙂.

Here’s an old thread

Oyster, I've given up taking Flecainide, just couldn't cope with the dreams/hallucinations and was afraid to go to sleep. A few days ago I was telling my daughter about one of the occurrences I'd had and she said to me, "Mum do you know what you sound like". Yes, the answer was a mad woman. I've decided to keep quiet now should anything scary like that happen again.

E-Dam grate response, a Kraft you know well. I Camembert such Emmental reply. You break Le Roule to be nice here, you end up with a Feta lip.😜

Now that’s pretty damn good for someone who claims they find it difficult to come with a witty remark.......😂

That made me laugh 😄😄

I was having an AF episode, own fault, two glasses of wine! Had three really odd dreams, waking up between each for the usual af dash to the loo.

Although the dreams were odd, none of them were scary especially where you have a frightening dream and return to it after waking.

Oh Hylda, that made me laugh. Now was he a kind Prince Charming type of abductor or a nasty one? Perhaps he grated on your nerves?

Love your grate post.

Caerphilly how you go sweet dreams

For softer cheeses, the more “involved” cheese graters are necessary. I like the look of this one which could probably handle anything

I have been having flecainide dreams for the past 15+ years since I first started taking it. At first they freaked me out but now I quite enjoy "the trip". It amazes me what my brain conjures up. I have a lot of the same type of dreams and lots of "toilet dreams" where I am looking everywhere for a toilet and often find them in strange places? I climbed up a huge tree once to wee! Obviously its because I need to get up and wee which I do often so I expect that part is linked Ha Ha. Good job I wake up! I take my flecainide at 10pm. Have to take it that time to space out the three I take per day. One at 6am, 2pm and 10pm.

I have taken sotolol for many years and have hallucinations on a regular basis I presume it’s a side effect! Two black mice on the radiator shelf last night playing nicely lol you wouldn’t believe some of the things I see, it used to scare me but I have got used to it now.
