This is inspirational!.What a man......and what a recovery.
About 10 years ago a friend underwent something very similar.I tried hard to get his wife to fight his corner but she was fatalistic .So sad. His outcome was very different .So, yes.It is up to you...and sometimes your family to get you started, nudge the therapists .... and push, push, push. getting immediate speech therapy and physio. is also critical. After my own TIA I made myself read and write and talk from the onset.Fortunately my situation was far less serious than some so within 24 hours my right arm recovered and i spoke normally again. Luck? Well, I like to think it had been mostly up to me .
Excellent, thanks for inspiration.
I love this message and believe with 100% of my heart that it is true! I grow weary ( and bored) with my exercise and diet routine, trying to get more fit. This man is so inspirational, " If it is to be, it is up to ME!". I will quit whining to myself and carry on. 💜
Great stuff, long live eternal optimists!
Thank you!
Thank you, very inspiring.
Yes its very easy to wallow in self pity but it won't help you in the long run. If you are able to you need to fight . Inspirational speaker!
