Pip

I took my Pip for the first time today. 200mil of flecainide - it worked - Yea!! So relieved as I was worried about passing out or feeling dizzy, but all was well. The dreaded AF was over in 55 mins. No need for me to worry about taking it in the future now.

It's been my regular med since 1999, prescribed for severe SVT. I've taken 50ml twice daily and it's kept symptoms under control for all these years without the need for ablation. Never had any side effects.

Glad it works for you Cally.

Happy to hear that! I can remember when I took my very first dose of flec for pip , very scary but like you, it did the job.

The pip (in my case flecainide), is a drug which helps restore the heart back into its normal rhythm quite quickly, rather than it continuing in AF for a long period of time. I can only suggest that you see your GP/cardiologist/electrophysiologist regarding having it prescribed.
